Monday, February 9, 2015 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Must Restaurant, Byward Market 41 William Street
Based on popular demand, we will be having another 10 – 12 year vertical tasting of Chateau Gaby. Guild President Bill Ellis and Guild Director Marie-France Champagne will be running a vertical of Chateau Gaby, a vineyard located in Canon-Fronsac.
We were lucky enough to purchase a lot of Chateau Gaby at auction and have been storing them for a cold Ottawa night! At this tasting we have also arranged for our friends at Must to prepare small plates that will accompany and complement the wines. Bill and Marie-France are familiar with the terroir as well as the growing conditions and changes in personnel over the years and they will guide attendees in a tasting that identify these differences in the wines.
This event will be a great way to discuss and taste terroir and other variables that make a consistent wine over the years with some subtitles differences you may not be able to identify without some guidance.
Indications are that this event will be popular and fill quickly!! Based on demand, this event will be for Guild members only.
