The Guild is pleased to be back with Rieslings! As wine lovers know, Rieslings are the most versatile white wines, ones that will age graciously and ones that, because of their mouth-watering acidity, will pair with many foods. For this reason, we have partnered with the Algonquin College Chefs to prepare small plates to taste with the wines.

The wines have been collected over the past year or so by Guild Director Robert White from various Vintages Releases and the Classics Collection to show a cross section of Rieslings from around the world, including some spectacular finds from the old world. We will have a flight of Rieslings showing classic flavour profiles, a flight of dry Rieslings, and we will complete the evening with some unique dessert Rieslings, including a rare Trockenbeerenauslese. You will have the opportunity to evaluate whether this $84 (per half bottle!) wine meets the impressive score of 98 given by Wine Enthusiast.As students will be our servers, the tasting with small plates dinner, will start at 6:30 p.m. sharp and end by 8:30 p.m.
