Indigenous cuisine meets Canadian wine!

The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health is hosting an unprecedented 5-star fundraising event in Ottawa! An evening of  Indigenous flavours—prepared by Wabano’s Chef Noah Para—paired with specially selected Canadian wines, guided by sommelier Véronique Rivest.

At this special event, you will enjoy seven flavourful food and wine pairings, Indigenous entertainment, a silent art auction, a tour of the  Wabano Meeting and Event Centre and a beverage  on our heated rooftop garden.

Chef Noah Para is an award winning Cree chef. Chef Para has cooked for leaders around the world including Pierre Trudeau, Bill Clinton and Jacques Chirac. He is one of the leaders of modern aboriginal cuisine in Canada

Véronique Rivest is one of the most respected sommeliers in Canada and abroad. She has won multiple sommelier competitions and awards. Véronique owns SOIF wine bar, writes for multiple magazines and has an infectious enthusiasm about sharing the great pleasures of wine.
